a small boutique in dubai worked from two colours, a deep forest green drawn across the backdrop and a clean white that cuts the space open. linear light runs the length of the ceiling, both illumination and direction, drawing the visitor through the room toward the garments held along its edges. vertical mirrors extend the walls, doubling the space until it reads larger and quieter than its hundred square metres. at the centre a bronzed sculptural seat sits as the single soft mass among the straight lines. the brand's wall stands deep hued and lightly lit. everything is reduced so the clothes carry the colour, and the architecture simply frames them.
